AMILCARE  ( Verrone , 03 Agosto 1892  –   Campiglia Cervo , 19 Dicembre 1968) Specializzato nei calcoli per costruzioni in cemento armato in campo industriale e civile, insignito negli anni Cinquanta del XX° secolo del titolo di Commendatore, dal 1938 al 1960 diresse i lavori di tutti i progetti relativi alla struttura portante cupola della Basilica di Oropa . La costruzione della Basilica di Oropa nel Biellese si è protratta per più di ottant’anni dal 1885 al 1966 .
