Nasce a Cuneo il 25 Giugno 1938. Dopo la laurea decide di iniziare il lavoro di attore. Per convincere il regista Giuseppe Patroni Griffi, si tuffò vestito in una delle due fontane antistanti Palazzo Farnese a Roma fingendo di nuotare.  E’ ricordato principalmente per la sua partecipazione alla pellicola  Amici miei (1975) di Mario Monicelli.  Nel 1963 ha inciso due 45 giri. Molto attivo anche nella prosa, è stato diretto da Giorgio Strehler e Luca Ronconi. Ebbe qualche fortuna anche negli Stati Uniti, dove girò due film e dove fu ospite più volte di trasmissioni televisive. Nel 1993, nel periodo del cosiddetto Affare Lady Golpe si presentò ai Carabinieri per riferire una circostanza che riteneva utile, riguardo il terrorista Gianni Nardi. È morto a Roma, all'età di 59 anni, dopo una lunga malattia. Le sue ceneri riposano nel cimitero di San Rocco Castagnaretta, una frazione del comune di Cuneo..

He was born in Cuneo on 25 June 1938. After graduating he decided to start working as an actor. To convince the director Giuseppe Patroni Griffi, he dived dressed into one of the two fountains in front of Palazzo Farnese in Rome pretending to swim.  He is mainly remembered for his participation in the film Amici miei (1975) by Mario Monicelli.  In 1963 he recorded two 45s. Also very active in prose, he was directed by Giorgio Strehler and Luca Ronconi. He also had some success in the United States, where he made two films and where he was a guest on television programs several times. In 1993, during the so-called Affair, Lady Golpe presented herself to the Carabinieri to report a circumstance that she considered useful, regarding the terrorist Gianni Nardi. He died in Rome, at the age of 59, after a long illness. His ashes rest in the cemetery of San Rocco Castagnaretta, a hamlet of the municipality of Cuneo.

Il est né à Cuneo le 25 juin 1938. Après avoir obtenu son diplôme, il décide de commencer à travailler comme acteur. Pour convaincre le réalisateur Giuseppe Patroni Griffi, il a plongé habillé dans l'une des deux fontaines devant le palais Farnèse à Rome en faisant semblant de nager.  On se souvient surtout de lui pour sa participation au film Amici miei (1975) de Mario Monicelli.  En 1963, il enregistre deux 45 tours. Très actif également en prose, il fut dirigé par Giorgio Strehler et Luca Ronconi. Il connaît également un certain succès aux États-Unis, où il réalise deux films et où il est plusieurs fois invité à des émissions de télévision. En 1993, au cours de la soi-disant Affaire, Lady Golpe s'est présentée aux Carabiniers pour rapporter une circonstance qu'elle considérait utile concernant le terroriste Gianni Nardi. Il est décédé à Rome, à l'âge de 59 ans, des suites d'une longue maladie. Ses cendres reposent au cimetière de San Rocco Castagnaretta, un hameau de la commune de Cuneo.

Para convencer al director Giuseppe Patroni Griffi, se sumergió vestido en una de las dos fuentes frente al Palacio Farnesio de Roma, fingiendo nadar.  Se le recuerda principalmente por su participación en la película Amici miei (1975) de Mario Monicelli.  En 1963 grabó dos 45. También muy activo en prosa, fue dirigido por Giorgio Strehler y Luca Ronconi. También tuvo cierto éxito en Estados Unidos, donde realizó dos películas y donde fue invitado en programas de televisión en varias ocasiones. En 1993, durante el llamado Asunto, Lady Golpe se presentó ante los Carabinieri para denunciar una circunstancia que consideraba útil respecto del terrorista Gianni Nardi. Murió en Roma, a la edad de 59 años, tras una larga enfermedad. Sus cenizas reposan en el cementerio de San Rocco Castagnaretta, pedanía del municipio de Cuneo.

Um den Regisseur Giuseppe Patroni Griffi zu überzeugen, tauchte er gekleidet in einen der beiden Brunnen vor dem Palazzo Farnese in Rom und tat so, als würde er schwimmen.  Er ist vor allem durch seine Mitwirkung im Film Amici miei (1975) von Mario Monicelli bekannt.  1963 nahm er zwei 45er auf. Auch in der Prosa war er sehr aktiv, Regie führten Giorgio Strehler und Luca Ronconi. Auch in den USA hatte er einige Erfolge, wo er zwei Filme drehte und mehrfach Gast in Fernsehsendungen war. Im Jahr 1993, während der sogenannten Affäre, stellte sich Lady Golpe den Carabinieri vor, um einen ihrer Meinung nach nützlichen Umstand im Zusammenhang mit dem Terroristen Gianni Nardi zu melden. Er starb im Alter von 59 Jahren nach langer Krankheit in Rom. Seine Asche ruht auf dem Friedhof von San Rocco Castagnaretta, einem Weiler der Gemeinde Cuneo.
