Nasce a Pola il 4 gennaio 1907. Dal 10 gennaio 1929, sino al dicembre 1943 svolge il lavoro di poliziotto. Nel 1943 inizia la sua collaborazione con i partigiani. Nel febbraio del 1944 entra in contatto con l’ambiente antifascista della città di Cuneo. Fornisce importanti e numerose informazioni e segnala le spie all’interno del movimento antifascista. Il 21 luglio del 1944 venne incaricato di arrestare un esponente di spicco del movimento di liberazione, ma attraverso amici comuni gli consente di fuggire. Il 24 luglio dello stesso anno, venuto a conoscenza in anteprima che nella notte la polizia nazi-fascista avrebbe effettuato un rastrellamento, salvò la vita a decine di persone. A settembre 1944, venuto a conoscenza dell’ordine di arrestare il prof. Eugenio Togliatti, fratello del capo del Partito Comunista Italano, che risiedeva a Fabrosa Soprana, attraverso la propria opera gli permise  di mettersi in salvo. Nel febbraio del 1945 ricevette l’incarico di arrestare i dirigenti “repubblichini” della Questura; purtroppo venne scoperto e dovette fuggire. Dopo la guerra ritornò ad essere un valente poliziotto al servizio dei cittadini sino al 1965 anno della sua morte.

He was born in Pula on 4 January 1907. From 10 January 1929 until December 1943 he worked as a policeman. In 1943 he began his collaboration with the partisans. In February 1944 he came into contact with the anti-fascist environment of the city of Cuneo. It provides important and numerous information and reports spies within the anti-fascist movement. On 21 July 1944 he was tasked with arresting a leading exponent of the liberation movement, but through mutual friends he allowed him to escape. On 24 July of the same year, having learned in advance that the Nazi-fascist police would carry out a raid during the night, he saved the lives of dozens of people. In September 1944, having learned of the order to arrest Prof. Eugenio Togliatti, brother of the head of the Italian Communist Party, who lived in Fabrosa Soprana, allowed him to save himself through his work. In February 1945 he received the task of arresting the "republican" leaders of the Police Headquarters; unfortunately he was discovered and had to flee. After the war he returned to being a capable policeman serving citizens until 1965, the year of his death. 

Il est né à Pula le 4 janvier 1907. Du 10 janvier 1929 à décembre 1943, il travailla comme policier. En 1943, il débute sa collaboration avec les partisans. En février 1944, il entre en contact avec le milieu antifasciste de la ville de Cuneo. Il fournit des informations et des rapports importants et nombreux sur les espions au sein du mouvement antifasciste. Le 21 juillet 1944, il fut chargé d'arrêter un des principaux représentants du mouvement de libération, mais grâce à des amis communs, il le laissa s'échapper. Le 24 juillet de la même année, ayant appris à l'avance que la police nazi-fasciste effectuerait un raid dans la nuit, il sauva la vie de dizaines de personnes. En septembre 1944, ayant appris l'ordre d'arrestation du Prof. Eugenio Togliatti, frère du chef du Parti communiste italien, qui vivait à Fabrosa Soprana, lui a permis de se sauver grâce à son travail. En février 1945, il fut chargé d'arrêter les dirigeants « républicains » de la Préfecture de Police ; malheureusement il a été découvert et a dû fuir. Après la guerre, il redevient un policier compétent au service des citoyens jusqu'en 1965, année de sa mort. 

Nació en Pula el 4 de enero de 1907. Desde el 10 de enero de 1929 hasta diciembre de 1943 trabajó como policía. En 1943 inició su colaboración con los partisanos. En febrero de 1944 entró en contacto con el ambiente antifascista de la ciudad de Cuneo. Proporciona información importante y numerosa y denuncia espías dentro del movimiento antifascista. El 21 de julio de 1944 se le encomendó arrestar a un destacado exponente del movimiento de liberación, pero a través de amigos en común le permitió escapar. El 24 de julio del mismo año, sabiendo de antemano que la policía nazi-fascista realizaría una redada durante la noche, salvó la vida de decenas de personas. En septiembre de 1944, al enterarse de la orden de arresto del Prof. Eugenio Togliatti, hermano del jefe del Partido Comunista Italiano, que vivía en Fabrosa Soprana, le permitió salvarse gracias a su trabajo. En febrero de 1945 recibió el encargo de arrestar a los dirigentes "republicanos" de la Jefatura de Policía; lamentablemente fue descubierto y tuvo que huir. Después de la guerra volvió a ser un policía capaz al servicio de los ciudadanos hasta 1965, año de su muerte. 

Er wurde am 4. Januar 1907 in Pula geboren. Vom 10. Januar 1929 bis Dezember 1943 arbeitete er als Polizist. 1943 begann er seine Zusammenarbeit mit den Partisanen. Im Februar 1944 kam er mit dem antifaschistischen Umfeld der Stadt Cuneo in Kontakt. Es liefert wichtige und zahlreiche Informationen und berichtet über Spione innerhalb der antifaschistischen Bewegung. Am 21. Juli 1944 erhielt er den Auftrag, einen führenden Vertreter der Befreiungsbewegung zu verhaften, doch durch gemeinsame Freunde ermöglichte er ihm die Flucht. Am 24. Juli desselben Jahres rettete er Dutzenden Menschen das Leben, nachdem er im Voraus erfahren hatte, dass die nationalsozialistische Polizei nachts eine Razzia durchführen würde. Als er im September 1944 von dem Befehl zur Verhaftung von Prof. Eugenio Togliatti, der Bruder des Vorsitzenden der Kommunistischen Partei Italiens, der in Fabrosa Soprana lebte, ermöglichte ihm, sich durch seine Arbeit zu retten. Im Februar 1945 erhielt er den Auftrag, die „republikanischen“ Führer des Polizeipräsidiums zu verhaften; Leider wurde er entdeckt und musste fliehen. Nach dem Krieg war er bis 1965, dem Jahr seines Todes, wieder ein fähiger Polizist im Dienste der Bürger.
