CARLO TORRIGHELLI

Nacque a Laveno nel 1909. Attivo nella Resistenza, nel dopoguerra diventa membro attivo della sezione locale del Partito Comunista Italiano. Ha vissuto per anni da vagabondo. Dopo aver protestato trascorrendo più giorni davanti al Comune urlando “Non ho una casa!”, gli è stata procurata una abitazione.  Dipingeva i propri slogan sui muri e sull’asfalto. Gli slogan più famosi si riferiscono a “impianti a onde radio” installati in Vaticano o nascosti negli Appennini capaci di uccidere a distanza: “la Chiesa ti uccide con l'onda!” ; “popolo bue, ti uccidono con l'onda!” e ancora ” Con l'onda ti uccidono! I russi, gli americani, il Vaticano!”. Altri slogan si scagliavano contro i mass media: “radio e televisione basta versi da gorilla ma cultura “. Si aggirava per Milano a bordo di un triciclo, un carretto. Aveva tre cani che chiamava: la Bella, l’ Umanità, l’ Amore. Morì per un arresto cardiaco nella notte tra il 4 e il 5 Novembre 1983. Aveva 74 anni.

He was born in Laveno in 1909. Active in the Resistance, after the war he became an active member of the local section of the Italian Communist Party. He lived for years as a vagabond. After protesting by spending several days in front of the Municipality shouting "I don't have a home!", he was provided with a home.  He painted his slogans on the walls and asphalt. The most famous slogans refer to "radio wave systems" installed in the Vatican or hidden in the Apennines capable of killing at a distance: "the Church kills you with the wave!" ; “Ox people, they'll kill you with the wave!” and again “With the wave they kill you! The Russians, the Americans, the Vatican!”. Other slogans were launched against the mass media: "radio and television no more gorilla verses but culture". He wandered around Milan aboard a tricycle, a cart. He had three dogs that he called: Beauty, Humanity, Love. He died of cardiac arrest on the night between 4 and 5 November 1983. He was 74 years old.

Après avoir protesté en passant plusieurs jours devant la municipalité en criant "Je n'ai pas de maison !", il s'est vu attribuer un logement.  Il a peint ses slogans sur les murs et sur l'asphalte. Les slogans les plus célèbres font référence à des « systèmes d'ondes radio » installés au Vatican ou cachés dans les Apennins capables de tuer à distance : « l'Église vous tue avec la vague ! ; « Peuples de bœufs, ils vous tueront avec la vague ! » et encore « Avec la vague ils te tuent ! Les Russes, les Américains, le Vatican ! D'autres slogans ont été lancés contre les médias de masse : « la radio et la télévision ne parlent plus de gorilles mais de culture ». Il errait dans Milan à bord d'un tricycle, d'une charrette. Il avait trois chiens qu'il appelait : Beauté, Humanité, Amour. Il est décédé d'un arrêt cardiaque dans la nuit du 4 au 5 novembre 1983. Il avait 74 ans.

Luego de protestar pasando varios días frente a la Municipalidad gritando “¡No tengo casa!”, le proporcionaron una vivienda.  Pintó sus lemas en las paredes y en el asfalto. Los lemas más famosos se refieren a "sistemas de ondas de radio" instalados en el Vaticano u ocultos en los Apeninos capaces de matar a distancia: "¡la Iglesia te mata con la onda!" ; “¡Gente de bueyes, os matarán con la ola!” y otra vez “¡Con la ola te matan! ¡Los rusos, los americanos, el Vaticano!”. Se lanzaron otras consignas contra los medios de comunicación: "radio y televisión, ya no versos de gorila, sino cultura". Deambuló por Milán a bordo de un triciclo, un carro. Tenía tres perros a los que llamaba: Belleza, Humanidad y Amor. Murió de un paro cardíaco la noche del 4 al 5 de noviembre de 1983. Tenía 74 años. 

Er wurde 1909 in Laveno geboren. Er war im Widerstand aktiv und wurde nach dem Krieg aktives Mitglied der örtlichen Sektion der Kommunistischen Partei Italiens. Er lebte jahrelang als Vagabund. Nachdem er mehrere Tage lang vor der Gemeinde protestiert und gerufen hatte: „Ich habe kein Zuhause!“, wurde ihm ein Zuhause zur Verfügung gestellt.  Er malte seine Parolen auf die Wände und den Asphalt. Die bekanntesten Slogans beziehen sich auf „Radiowellensysteme“, die im Vatikan installiert oder im Apennin versteckt sind und in der Lage sind, aus der Ferne zu töten: „Die Kirche tötet dich mit der Welle!“ ; „Ochsenmenschen, sie werden dich mit der Welle töten!“ und noch einmal „Mit der Welle töten sie dich!“ Die Russen, die Amerikaner, der Vatikan!“ Gegen die Massenmedien wurden weitere Slogans lanciert: „Radio und Fernsehen keine Gorillaverse mehr, sondern Kultur“. Er wanderte auf einem Dreirad, einem Karren, durch Mailand. Er hatte drei Hunde, die er nannte: Schönheit, Menschlichkeit, Liebe. Er starb in der Nacht vom 4. auf den 5. November 1983 an einem Herzstillstand. Er war 74 Jahre alt.
