PAOLO FIORAVANTE RASPOLINI (Arcola, ............ 1884 - Sarzana, 23.01.1923)
Nacque ad Arcola nel 1884. Minatore e bracciante. I suoi concittadini lo chiamavano “Dante”. Nel Gennaio 1923 Giovanni Lubrano, fascista di La Spezia, venne assassinato da parte di altri fascisti. A seguito dell’imbarazzo creato dalla morte di un fascista per mano di altri fascisti, venne sostenuta la tesi di anarchici comunisti infiltrati tra le proprie file quali responsabili del delitto. Questa tesi divenne il pretesto per rappresaglie. Nella notte tra il 21 e il 22 Gennaio 1923 nel Comune di Sarzana Paolo Fioravante, in quanto dichiaratamente anarchico ma non militante in nessuna organizzazione, venne malmenato e legato per i piedi con un cavo d’acciaio ad un’auto. Fu trascinato fino alla sul greto del fiume, dove venne finito con diciassette colpi di pistola e 21 pugnalate. Il figlio Doro lo vendicherà nel 1931 uccidendo colui che riteneva il mandante dell’assassinio del padre.
He was born in Arcola in 1884. Miner and labourer. His fellow citizens called him “Dante”. In January 1923 Giovanni Lubrano, a fascist from La Spezia, was murdered by other fascists. Following the embarrassment created by the death of a fascist at the hands of other fascists, the theory was supported that communist anarchists had infiltrated their ranks as responsible for the crime. This thesis became the pretext for reprisals. On the night between 21 and 22 January 1923 in the municipality of Sarzana Paolo Fioravante, as an avowed anarchist but not a militant in any organisation, was beaten up and tied by his feet with a steel cable to a car. He was dragged to the riverbed, where he was finished with seventeen gunshots and 21 stab wounds. His son Doro avenged him in 1931 by killing the person he believed to be the instigator of his father's assassination.
Il est né à Arcola en 1884. Mineur et ouvrier. Ses concitoyens l'appelaient « Dante ». En janvier 1923, Giovanni Lubrano, un fasciste de La Spezia, fut assassiné par d'autres fascistes. Suite à l'embarras créé par la mort d'un fasciste aux mains d'autres fascistes, la théorie a été soutenue selon laquelle des anarchistes communistes s'étaient infiltrés dans leurs rangs en tant que responsables du crime. Cette thèse devient prétexte à des représailles. Dans la nuit du 21 au 22 janvier 1923, dans le Commune de Sarzana Paolo Fioravante, en tant qu'anarchiste déclaré mais militant dans aucune organisation, fut battu et attaché par les pieds avec un câble d'acier à une voiture. Il a été traîné jusqu'au lit de la rivière, où il a été tué par dix-sept coups de feu et 21 coups de couteau. Son fils Doro le vengea en 1931 en tuant celui qu'il croyait être l'instigateur de l'assassinat de son père.
Er wurde 1884 in Arcola geboren. Bergmann und Arbeiter. Seine Mitbürger nannten ihn „Dante“. Im Januar 1923 wurde Giovanni Lubrano, ein Faschist aus La Spezia, von anderen Faschisten ermordet. Nach der Peinlichkeit, die durch den Tod eines Faschisten durch andere Faschisten entstanden war, wurde die Theorie unterstützt, dass kommunistische Anarchisten als Verantwortliche für das Verbrechen in ihre Reihen eingedrungen seien. Diese These wurde zum Vorwand für Repressalien. In der Nacht vom 21. auf den 22. Januar 1923 in der Gemeinde Sarzana wurde Paolo Fioravante, als bekennender Anarchist, aber in keiner Organisation aktiv, zusammengeschlagen und an den Füßen mit einem Stahlseil an ein Auto gefesselt. Er wurde zum Flussbett geschleift, wo er mit siebzehn Schüssen und 21 Stichwunden getötet wurde. Sein Sohn Doro rächte ihn 1931, indem er die Person tötete, die er für den Anstifter der Ermordung seines Vaters hielt.
