Nel 1912 si fa scritturare come attore generico. Nel 1919 scrive la canzone Ninna nanna delle dodici mamme.  Nel 1920 avvia una carriera cinematografica. A fine anno si trasferisce a Parigi. Nel 1923 sposa Clementina Fiorentina Lovisolo, originaria di San Marzano Oliveto. Si ritrasferisce a Parigi. Nel 1927 è chiamato a lavorare al Moulin Rouge. Torna in Italia nel 1929. Nel 1932 parte per una lunga tournée americana. Nel 1933 scrive il suo capolavoro, Porta un bacione a Firenze (Clicca su questa località per scoprire gli hotels, i ristoranti, i musei, le attività aderenti a questa nostra iniziativa).  Nel 1955 fa parte della commissione selezionatrice del Festival di Sanremo. Durante i funerali un gruppo di posteggiatori intonò Porta un bacione a Firenze (Clicca su questa località per scoprire gli hotels, i ristoranti, i musei, le attività aderenti a questa nostra iniziativa).

In 1912 he was hired as a generic actor. In 1919 he wrote the song Ninna nanna delle dodici mamme. In 1920 he began a film career. At the end of the year he moved to Paris. In 1923 he married Clementina Fiorentina Lovisolo, originally from San Marzano Oliveto. He moved back to Paris. In 1927 he was called to work at the Moulin Rouge. He returned to Italy in 1929. In 1932 he left for a long American tour. In 1933 he wrote his masterpiece, Bring a kiss to Florence (Click on this location to discover the hotels, restaurants, museums and activities participating in this initiative of ours). In 1955 he was part of the selection committee of the Sanremo Festival. He died in Florence (Click on this location to discover the hotels, restaurants, museums and activities participating in this initiative of ours) on June 26, 1965. During his funeral a group of parking attendants sang Bring a kiss to Florence (Click on this location to discover the hotels, restaurants, museums and activities participating in this initiative of ours).

En 1912, il est engagé comme acteur général. En 1919, il écrit la chanson Berceuse des douze mères.  En 1920, il débute une carrière cinématographique. À la fin de l'année, il s'installe à Paris. En 1923, il épousa Clementina Fiorentina Lovisolo, originaire de San Marzano Oliveto. Il retourne à Paris. En 1927, il est appelé à travailler au Moulin Rouge. Il retourne en Italie en 1929. En 1932, il part pour une longue tournée américaine. En 1933, il écrit son chef-d'œuvre, Apportez un baiser à Florence (Cliquez sur cet endroit pour découvrir les hôtels, restaurants, musées et activités participant à notre initiative).  En 1955, il fait partie de la commission de sélection du Festival de Sanremo. En 1923 se casó con Clementina Fiorentina Lovisolo, originaria de San Marzano Oliveto. Regresa a París. En 1927 fue llamado a trabajar en el Moulin Rouge. Regresó a Italia en 1929. En 1932 emprendió una larga gira por Estados Unidos. Er wurde am 16.
