Nacque a Parma il 15 Marzo 1897. Nel 1906 la madre apre una trattoria davanti la Prefettura di Parma. Nel 1914 inaugura, sempre con la madre, il ristorante Roma. Nel 1919 apre l’osteria Tre Botti. Nel 1920 apre il Caffè Orologio, che diventa un punto di riferimento dell’alta borghesia cittadina. Nel 1933 inaugurò il Tanara, dove creò il caffè-concerto. I locali di Otello erano frequentati da Mario Luzi, Pier Paolo Pasolini, e Eugenio Montale, Pratolini, insieme a molti altri intellettuali e rappresentanti della cultura cittadina . Muore a Parma nel 1985.

In 1919 he opened the Tre Botti tavern. In 1920 he opened the Caffè Orologio, which became a point of reference for the city's upper middle class. In 1933 he inaugurated the Tanara, where he created the café-concert. Otello's premises were frequented by Mario Luzi, Pier Paolo Pasolini, and Eugenio Montale, Pratolini, along with many other intellectuals and representatives of the city's culture. He died in Parma in 1985.

Les locaux d'Otello étaient fréquentés par Mario Luzi, Pier Paolo Pasolini et Eugenio Montale, Pratolini, ainsi que de nombreux autres intellectuels et représentants de la culture de la ville. Il meurt à Parme en 1985.

Er wurde am 15. März 1897 in Parma geboren. 1906 eröffnete seine Mutter ein Restaurant vor der Präfektur Parma. 1914 eröffnete er erneut zusammen mit seiner Mutter das Restaurant Roma. Im Jahr 1919 wurde die Taverne Tre Botti eröffnet. Im Jahr 1920 wurde das Caffè Orologio eröffnet und entwickelte sich zu einem Anlaufpunkt für die Oberschicht der Stadt. 1933 eröffnete er das Tanara, wo er das Café-Konzert ins Leben rief. Die Otello-Räume wurden von Mario Luzi, Pier Paolo Pasolini und Eugenio Montale, Pratolini, zusammen mit vielen anderen Intellektuellen und Vertretern der Stadtkultur besucht. Er starb 1985 in Parma.
