Nacque il 19 ottobre 1935 da genitori di Polignano a Mare. Trascorre l’adolescenza a Bari. Si diploma al liceo artistico di Napoli. Dal 1956 lavora come scenografo televisivo. Realizza vari spot pubblicitari per Carosello.  È ritenuto un esponente dell'arte povera. Nel 1965 tiene la sua prima mostra a Roma. Nel 1966 espone le sue opere a Torino e nel 1967 in Germania. Nel 1968 partecipa alla XXXIV Biennale di Venezia. L’11 settembre muore a seguito di un incidente motociclistico. Aveva 33 anni.

Since 1956 he has worked as a television set designer. He has created various commercials for Carosello. He is considered an exponent of Arte Povera. In 1965 he held his first exhibition in Rome. In 1966 he exhibited his works in Turin and in 1967 in Germany. In 1968 he participated in the XXXIV Venice Biennale. On September 11 he died following a motorcycle accident. He was 33 years old.

En 1965, il réalise sa première exposition à Rome. En 1966, il expose ses œuvres à Turin et en 1967 en Allemagne. En 1968, il participe à la XXXIVe Biennale de Venise. Le 11 septembre, il décède des suites d'un accident de moto. Il avait 33 ans.

Er wurde am 19. Oktober 1935 als Sohn von Eltern aus Polignano a Mare geboren. Seine Jugend verbrachte er in Bari. Er absolvierte das Kunstgymnasium in Neapel. Seit 1956 ist er als Fernsehset-Designer tätig. Er kreiert verschiedene Werbespots für Carosello.  Er gilt als Vertreter der Armenkunst. 1965 veranstaltete er seine erste Ausstellung in Rom. 1966 stellte er seine Werke in Turin und 1967 in Deutschland aus. 1968 nahm er an der XXXIV. Biennale von Venedig teil. Am 11. September starb er an den Folgen eines Motorradunfalls. Er war 33 Jahre alt.
